Biography

Edward T. English lived in West Roxbury, MA from 6/6/21 to 2/10/03. He had five sisters, worked for Boston Gas Company for 49 years, and with his wife Ann H. (Dugan) had seven children, and then eight grandchildren. Ed was in the US Army Military Government in Germany in World War II.

Dad was a very sensitive person, but he was also quite strong. Dad was a story teller and he loved to entertain one person or a crowd. He was very good at making people laugh, in all circumstances. Dad was frugal and resourceful. He loved cars all throughout his life, and could fix anything. And Dad's only hobby was his family, who he loved dearly. Here is a longer version...

Photos etc

Here are some recent photos and some older ones. And here is a voice mail from Dad to Tim. :)

Alzheimer's disease

Dad had Alzheimer's disease which caused dementia during the last two years of his life. Here is information about our decision to place him in a facility, his transition, and a letter from Paul. And here are some dreams that I've been having after he passed away.
